Family Support Services
We often get calls for help from those who have loved-ones in cults or entangled in abusive relationships. While Wellspring DOES NOT provide exit-counseling or interventions, we can offer support to help you navigate the process. Our team of experts can help you determine if the group your loved-one has joined or the relationship that binds them has the characteristics of abuse, if their activities seem to be or could become harmful, and what the best course of action might be for dealing with the situation. We can also provide support in helping the family cope with the extreme stress of having someone in a cult or battering situation.
Family Support Services can be offered via telephone or on site at the Wellspring facility in Albany, Ohio. Family members are asked to complete a thorough questionnaire before the consults take place so that our staff will know as much about their situation as possible.
If you feel you and your family could benefit from speaking to someone on our staff simply contact us and request a Family Support Services packet. One will be sent to you in the mail. The questionnaire can then be mailed or faxed to our office along with payment. An appointment will be arranged by phone for you shortly after we receive your materials. Because this process involves personal information, we do not use the Internet for any of the steps, including sending the questionnaires.
