Our Facility

The Lodge
Our clients stay in our beautiful Lodge while they are here. We strive to provide a warm, serene, therapeutic atmosphere. The Lodge features balconies, antique furniture, and warmly decorated rooms.

Cookie break! The "homey" atmosphere at Wellspring is appreciated by clients who enjoy raiding the cookie jar if they want. The meals as well as the cleanup are taken care of by Wellspring's residence coordinators so the clients can focus on their recovery. There is even an afternoon “tea time” to take a break and enjoy a cup of tea and scones with staff and other clients.

A place to relaxThe living area provides clients with a place to watch TV, read, or do nothing at all The space also provides clients with a place in which they can meet, socialize with, and talk to others seeking treatment at Wellspring. The huge windows provide a view of the beautiful grounds and some prime bird and squirrel watching! The whole area is great for talking out tough issues, getting acquainted with other clients, and doing some individualized study with the materials in Wellspring's resource library.

What's cookin'?The clients' meals are prepared in the Lodge's fully-stocked kitchen. The preparation of the meals is just one of the ways in which Wellspring cares for and nurtures those it helps. Our meals are home cooked and served family style with plenty of second helpings. Special diets can be accommodated if requested ahead of time, although there is sometimes an additional fee for elaborate menu modifications. Of course, the clients are always welcome to raid the fridge or explore the cupboard for a midnight snack.

Sweet dreamsWhen we say that Wellspring is a residential treatment center we mean that the clients stay on-site while undergoing treatment. Serene colors and homey decor add a touch of warmth and comfort conducive to healing the battered heart and mind.

A soft touchThis room is located on the main floor of the Lodge just down the hall from the kitchen. There's also another bedroom located on the third floor. Private rooms are not guaranteed, but are sometimes available.

Educational opportunitiesWellspring clients also have access to the many resources at the center. Tucked away in a tidy little corner on the top floor of the Lodge is a small library. This area, of course, houses only a small portion of Wellspring's resources. There are more books, files, and videos dealing with recovery issues as well as abusive groups and cults elsewhere at the facility.

Study BreakClients can relax and privately study topics related to their experience that are of particular interest to them.

Striking a chordFrom time to time we have clients who like to make music, so we were glad when a couple of our former clients donated the guitar below. Clients are  welcome to bring their own musical instruments, and we also have a piano and other instruments available.  Not only does the staff at Wellspring recognize the benefits of musical expression, but many of us are musicians and/or vocalists ourselves. Art and craft supplies are also available for clients to enjoy and several of the residence coordinators, aspiring artists themselves, are always ready to join in on projects. Special workshops in creative expression are always popular with our clients!
