Wellspring Retreat and Resource Center is a residential treatment center for those who have been abused in relationships, cults, situations of trauma, and by destructive therapeutic alliances resulting in emotional betrayal and/or physical harm. We offer hope and help through a program of counseling, education, and retreat.

The work of Wellspring is continuing! Our founder and former director, Dr. Paul Martin (June 28, 1946 - August 14, 2009), put a program into place that is easy to follow and works. It is not the same without Paul, but we are still carrying on his legacy of caring and kindness to those who are in need.

SUMMARY OF SERVICES 

Since its beginning in 1986, Wellspring provides a unique, professional,  program of counseling and care in a safe, peaceful, and scenic location.

Program options: The normal length of stay is two weeks. We also have a one-week program. Weekend sessions can be considered on an individual basis. For a full description of our various programs, click on "get help" above.

Affordability. Wellspring works with you to make your treatment more affordable. At Wellspring we understand there is a great need for financial assistance and quality treatment to be available for those who have been victims of abuse.

Psychological, emotional or spiritual abuse and cult survivors

Here at Wellspring Retreat and Resource Center we treat people who have been victims of psychological, emotional or spiritual abuse from religious cults, toxic relationships or other manipulative groups. Survivors come to us for help after removing themselves from some of the following situations:
    • Mind control / Brainwashing cults
    • Domestic violence
    • Therapist abuse
    • Clergy abuse
    • High-demand groups
    • Spiritual abuse
    • Mental abuse
    • Emotional abuse
